The CD4511BE is a CMOS BCD to 7 segment LED latch decoder driver in 16 pin DIP package. It is constructed with CMOS logic and NPN bipolar transistor output devices on a single monolithic structure. This device combines low quiescent power dissipation and high noise immunity features of RCA CMOS with NPN bipolar output transistors capable of sourcing up to 25mA. This capability allows CD4511B to drive LED's and other displays directly. Lamp test, blanking and latch enable or strobe inputs are provided to test display, shut off or intensity modulate and store BCD code. Several different signals may be multiplexed and displayed when external multiplexing circuitry is used.
