The EVAL-ADXL375Z is a simple evaluation board that allows quick evaluation of the performance of the ADXL375 three axis digital accelerometer. The ADXL375 is a small, thin, three axis MEMS accelerometer that provides low power consumption and high resolution measurement up to ±200g. The digital output data is formatted as 16bit, two's complement data. An integrated memory management system with a 32 level first in, first out (FIFO) buffer can be used to store data to minimize host processor activity and lower overall system power consumption. Low power modes enable intelligent motion based power management with threshold sensing and active acceleration measurement at extremely low power dissipation. The board has two sets of 0.1inch spaced vias, for population of a 4 pin and 5 pin header, for access to all power and signal lines. The vias or headers allow the evaluation board to be attached to a prototyping board (breadboard) or attached to the PCB in an existing system.
